Terms of Use
Last updated 18 October 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of https://hydroponicgrowsystems.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by X Enterprises, LLC, 18122 3rd Dr SE, Bothell, WA 98012 ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
What the Site is, and what it is not
The Site publishes general information about home hydroponic systems for vegetables, herbs, and other plants, including system types, lights, pumps, reservoirs, water, nutrients as makers describe them, and electrical and water safety. We are not a retailer, a brand, a maker, an electrician, a grower, a testing laboratory, a certifier, a government agency, or a lawyer. We do not sell systems, equipment, nutrients, seeds, plants, or other products. The Site does not give prices, product picks, wiring or electrical instructions, or nutrient formulas.
Important electrical, water, and growing notice
Hydroponic systems combine water with electrical equipment such as pumps, lights, timers, and heaters, which can cause electric shock, electrocution, burns, and fire. Grow lights can get hot. Nutrient solutions, pH adjusters, and cleaning products can be harmful if swallowed or splashed and must be kept away from children and pets. Water can damage floors and wiring. You are responsible for following every maker's instructions and every label, for keeping electrical equipment and connections away from water, for using ground fault protection, for supervising children and pets, and for using a qualified electrician for any wiring. In an emergency, call 911.
General information only; no professional, legal, electrical, or safety advice
Content on the Site is for general information. It is not electrical, engineering, safety, agricultural, food safety, legal, regulatory, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for the maker's instructions, the product label, or a qualified electrician or other professional. We do not say that any system, product, or practice is safe, will produce any harvest or result, or is suitable for you or your home.
Electricity and water
Where the Site describes ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs) or electrical safety near water, it does so as the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) describes them, for general information. The Site does not give wiring, outlet, or equipment modification instructions. Use a qualified electrician for any electrical work, and follow every maker's instructions.
Lights, heat, and fire
Grow lights, ballasts, heaters, and power strips can overheat. Follow the maker's instructions for mounting, clearances, ventilation, and use. We do not say that any light or setup is safe to leave running unattended.
Nutrients, chemicals, and pest control
Nutrient solutions, pH adjusters, cleaners, and pest control products are made and sold by third parties. Their labels control mixing, use, storage, and disposal. The Site does not give nutrient formulas or pest control recipes. Pesticides are regulated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and state agencies; follow the label.
Harvests, food, and results
Results vary with plants, conditions, care, and equipment. We do not say that any system will produce any yield, grow plants at any rate, use any amount of water, or produce food that is safer, healthier, or more nutritious. Wash and handle produce as public health agencies advise.
Organic and other labels
We do not say that any system, nutrient, or harvest is organic or can be certified organic. Organic certification in the United States is decided by certifiers accredited by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) under USDA's organic regulations. Label terms such as "organic," "natural," or "food grade" on a product are the maker's descriptions, not ours.
Plants and the law
Some plants are restricted by federal, state, or local law. The Site does not cover growing any plant whose cultivation is restricted by law, and nothing on the Site says what any law allows. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you.
Makers' instructions and labels
Systems, lights, pumps, nutrients, and accessories are made and sold by third parties under their own terms. Their instructions, warnings, labels, and recall notices control over anything on the Site. We have not tested any product. We are not responsible for any third party's products, claims, instructions, or recalls.
Agencies, organizations, and sources
Government agencies named on the Site, including CPSC, EPA, and USDA, are credited for their own guidance and definitions. None of them endorses the Site, and the Site's mention of a rule, program, label, or source is not a statement that any product is approved, certified, compliant, or safe.
The Site name
"Hydroponic Grow Systems" is the name of the Site. It is not a statement that we make, sell, install, or recommend any grow system or product.
Brand names and trademarks
Brand, product, program, and organization names mentioned on the Site belong to their owners. We use them only to credit their own guidance. The Site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any brand or organization it mentions.
Affiliate links
Some links may be affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Any purchase is between you and the retailer, under the retailer's terms. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Eligibility
The Site is for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13.

Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, ANY PURCHASE FROM A THIRD PARTY, OR THE SELECTION, SETUP, WIRING, OPERATION, OR MAINTENANCE OF ANY HYDROPONIC SYSTEM, LIGHT, PUMP, ELECTRICAL DEVICE, NUTRIENT, CHEMICAL, OR OTHER PRODUCT, OR ANY PLANT OR HARVEST. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.
Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
Dispute resolution; binding arbitration; class-action waiver
Please read this section carefully. Except for small-claims matters and claims for injunctive relief over intellectual property, any dispute about these Terms or the Site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The seat of arbitration will be King County, Washington, unless you and we agree otherwise. You and we waive any right to a jury trial and to take part in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must proceed in court and not in arbitration.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the arbitration section, exclusive venue for permitted court actions is the state or federal courts in King County, Washington, and you consent to jurisdiction there.
Assignment and change of operator
We may assign or transfer these Terms, and the Site, to a successor operator, including as part of a sale of the Site, without notice to you. After that, the successor operator takes our place under these Terms and may post its own terms. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
Miscellaneous
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
